Interested in becoming a GBCA member?

GBCA membership provides an exciting opportunity for organisations to be part of a vibrant community dedicated to advancing sustainable building practices in Australia. As a member, your organisation gains access to a wealth of resources, networking opportunities, and industry insights, empowering your organisation to make a significant positive impact on the built environment. Joining GBCA demonstrates your commitment to creating a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future for generations to come. 

Please note, GBCA membership is applied at the organisational level and not for individual people as such. As an individual however, you can enrol in the GBCA's Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program. For more information on the GBCA's CPD program, please click here.  

How does my organisation join?

To become a member, you’ll first need to have a personal account within the GBCA system, as well as a member company account. Do to this, please follow these simple steps: 

1. Click the 'Login' button in the top righthand side of this page. You’ll see a dropdown with the option, ‘Join’. (Click it!)
2. It will ask you to verify your email address and subsequently send you a verification code to that email address. This will be a six-digit number. Add in the verification code and click ‘verify code’.
3. After verifying the code, it will ask you create and confirm your password, and provide your first and last name.
4. From there the ‘Create an account’ page opens up where you’ll be prompted to provide a bit more information on you, as well as your company information. If your company is not in our system, just scroll to the bottom of the list and select the Company name ‘Other’, followed by the tick box underneath. This will allow you to provide your company information.
5. After filling out the appropriate information and clicking ‘Submit’, it will take you to the payment page where you can pay and finalise your membership registration.

Once completed, the GBCA membership team will be in contact within 48hrs to connect with you and make sure you’ve settled and have access to what you need. If you have any questions throughout this process, we’re only a phone call away at 02 8239 6200 or email us.

Membership fees

Period: Our membership period covers the financial year (1 July to 30 June) – although we welcome new members at any time of the year. 
3 year rate: For those organisations who want to commit to our mission, we offer 3 year loyalty membership options. By joining now for 3 years, you can lock in membership fees at today’s rates.
